On Thursday and Friday, December 5 and 6, Alt 92.3 (WNYL-FM) hosted its second ‘Not So Silent Night’ (NSSN) concert event, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
And this year, the bands and performers who attended one of Alternative Rock’s biggest radio concert events, were notable.
Highlighting both nights were Mumford and Sons, performing their hit songs, including ‘I Will Wait’ and ‘Guiding Light.’
Alt 92.3 debuted in November 2017, marking the reentrance of Alternative Rock music to the New York radio airwaves, previously heard on New Rock 101.9 (WRXP-FM), in 2012.
Also making a high-powered performance at NSSN was Jimmy Eat World, a staple of 90s alternative music. With songs like ‘The Middle,’ the audience was treated to an alternative throwback in the middle of some of the best new alternative tracks.
Other artists who performed at NSSN included Cage the Elephant, Of Monsters and Men, Shaed, and Judah the Lion.
WNYL-FM is owned by Entercom Communications.
